It’s A Boy! – Damn…………….Better Luck Next Time.

Horrible title isn’t it? Yet, is it any more horrible or inhumane or just downright sick that this one?

International Day of the Girl Child

Imagine being so deluded, so tunnel-visioned, so lacking in any compassion or empathy for the suffering of one half of the world’s children that you actually believe only focusing on half of the world’s many many children who suffer terrible calamities, poverty, torture and disadvantage – IS A GOOD THING!

Naturally, there is no International Day of The Boy Child. One of the – in my opinion – sick twisted individuals behind this abhorrence is none other than Nikki Van Der Gaag, one of the sources for Ian Hughes excrable article in The Journal.ie.

Nikki van der Gaag has been writing about development issues for more than 20 years. After leaving Oxford, she went to work in India for Time Out magazine. Since then she has held editorial and communications positions in the charity and not-for-profit sector, including Oxfam, Oxford-based New Internationalist magazine and the Panos Institute, which work with journalists all over the world.

For the past 10 years she has been an independent consultant and writer, focusing in particular on gender, especially girls and young women, and more recently on men and masculinities around the world.

Nikki is on the International Advisory Board of Young Lives, a 15-year study of child poverty in four different countries based here at Oxford, an Advisory Trustee of New Internationalist and until recently a trustee at Asylum Welcome, a local refugee organization.

Books and reports include five of the seven State of the World’s Girls reports, published by Plan International, the most recent being In Double Jeopardy: Adolescent girls and disasters; Changing Lives in a Changing World, Young Lives (2012), Speaking Out: Case studies on how poor people influence decision-making Oxfam/Practical Action 2009; The No-Nonsense Guide to Women’s Rights New Internationalist 2008 and How the World Came to Oxford: refugees past and present. Oxford Literary Festival, March 2007. Nikki is currently working on a book for Zed Press on men and feminism.”

Plan International is where this International Day of The Girl Child originated, and Nikki Van Der Gaag is one of the people behind it – as you can see, she is in a unique position to influence where, when and how resources, aid and development funding goes. For children.

There are no State of the Worlds Boys reports either, by the way. Not on the bloody UN website, or the WHO website or any other international global NGO. None. Not one. Nada. Zilch.

Oh wait – in 2011 boys got a mention, from Plan International: the Report is called – Because I am a Girl: So, what about boys?

This is what Plan International has to say about boys.

‘Because I am a Girl: The State of the World’s Girls 2011 – So, what about boys?’ is the fifth in a series of annual reports published by Plan examining the rights of girls throughout their childhood, adolescence and as young women.

The report shows that far from being an issue just for women and girls, gender is also about boys and men, and that this needs to be better understood if we are going to have a positive impact on societies and economies.

Drawing on research and case studies, the report argues that working for equality must involve men and boys both as holders of power and as a group that is also suffering the consequences of negative gender stereotypes.

It also makes recommendations for action, showing policy makers and planners what can make a real difference to girls’ lives all over the world.

(emphasis added)

Aaaaawww, that’s nice, boys get mentioned – boys living in abject poverty, in terrible disadvantage and distress are described as “holders of power”

What doesn’t get mentioned is that that boys have rights – “…….throughout their childhood, adolescence and as young ..men”.

From the summary of the Report

Because I am a Girl: THE STATE OF THE WORLD’S GIRLS 2 011: YOUTH SUMMARY: So, what about boys?

This is how boys are viewed, will be viewed and no doubt will always be viewed as long as people like Nikki van Der Gaag have anything to do with children.

“So, why are we talking about boys?

The ‘Because I am a Girl’ report is still primarily a report about girls, and will continue to be about girls, but this year we are looking at why it is so important for men and boys to be a part of the solution in achieving gender equality. In many places support for equal opportunities for boys and girls does not exist. Men and boys are still the main decision makers in relationships, families, communities, businesses and governments. If projects and programmes throughout the world only work with women and girls we will struggle to make a difference.”

(emphasis added)

First, the fact that these people believe asking that question “So, why are we talking about boys?” is legitimate says everything you need to know about their ethos – the more legitimate question is this:

Why aren’t you talking about boys?

As unique human beings in their own right – with their own unique perspectives, thoughts, feelings, needs and wishes? Why are you not treating boys as equally valuable and worthwhile human beings, as INDIVIDUALS – not as some ever present problem FOR girls?

Why?

I typed International Day of The Boy Child into the UN search box – and I got 1,352 results – this is a list of the top twenty. On the UN Womens site http://www.unwomen.org/en – on the basis that – women – mothers – children – boys are children?

The keyword that gets highlighted the majority of the time is the word “the” followed by “child” and “international” the word “BOY” simply does not register. At all. In the United Nations.

Because you see – ALL these organisations have been infested by feminist ideology and feminists – like Nikki Van Der Gaag.

As a feminist – you can be sure that NONE (or a miniscule amount) of funding/aid goes to little boys or young men – not in any significant amounts that is.

That’s what feminists do, have done, and will keep doing unless they are stopped, unless the vile ideology of feminism is rooted out from every single level of government and civil society.

Now, apparently Van Der Gaag is an expert on “men and masculinities” never mind she isn’t actually male, has zero experience of being male – she is an expert.

And eejits like Ian Hughes are so pathetically emasculated that he and his ilk (male feminists) parrot the unutterable crap that is spewed out from the likes of Van Der Gaag – writing articles entitled Why are men more violent than women?

Citing this wretch as a plausible “reference”

It sounds like I have a huge problem with resources, aid and funding being channelled to girls, doesn’t it?

I don’t – millions of girls in the world suffer all forms of abuse, disadvantage and distress – millions of them – SO DO MILLIONS OF BOYS! But you won’t hear a word about those little boys from Nikki Van Der Gaag.

You see – I’m NOT a feminist, so I have absolutely no problem acknowledging that millions of wee little lassies suffer unimaginable horrors, terrible disadvantage, poverty and trauma, as do millions of wee little laddies.

Because I’m NOT a feminist – I don’t see a “boy child” or a “girl child” and calculate a value or worth for that little creature based on their genitalia – I SEE A CHILD.

A child in need, a child who is suffering, a child who needs help.

From Nikki Van Der Gaag’s piece entitled Why involve men in work on gender equality? Link here.

“………there is suspicion from feminists, and from some women and women’s groups about working with men. (Not to mention the scepticism from some women and men about the value of gender work at all in our ‘post-feminist’ era). They question men’s motives. And they feel that the debate is hijacking the focus and the resources from work with women. They are right.”

There in a nutshell you have it – feminism’s greatest fear “hijacking the focus and the resources from work with women.”

Their second greatest fear is losing control of the discourse, of losing control of the narrative. But above and beyond all this, is that absolute dread, fear and terror that anyone in a position of power will start listening to the VOICES OF MEN!

The wrong sort of men – men who don’t give a shit about feminism, men who have listened to the “message of feminism” and declared it to be what it is.

Complete unutterable shoite. Poisonous, vile, malicious. Fraudulent CRAP!

To Ian Hughes and any other poor sap like him who thinks or believes that feminists like Nikki Van Der Gaag “has a point” here’s what she really thinks of you – as a man.

You are a penis wielding barbarian, your very sexuality is toxic, you are a perpetual threat and a danger to the safety and wellbeing of every single female who comes anywhere near to you. You are not to be trusted around children, especially female children and your very core being dictates that you dominate/enslave all women, everywhere.

Given half the chance you will beat the living shit of any woman who dares to oppose/defy/question you or your “male authority” which incidentally is bestowed upon you at the moment of your birth – even if you are born in a hovel in the worst hellhole on this planet – your tiny little baby penis has magic powers!

Speaking of your penis – it isn’t just a part of your body, part of the whole person that you are – it is a weapon, a device whose sole purpose is to harm, to punish, and to inflict violence – on women – all women. Whenever the opportunity arises – and – as a man – you are always on the lookout for that opportunity.

THAT’S what feminists absolutely believe you are – as a man – from the moment of your birth.

You made two mistakes when you penned your dire article Ian Hughes – first you swallowed without question the hypothesis that being male was inherently a bad thing – in effect you took upon yourself the belief that as a man – you were a flawed human being. YOU. As a man.

Secondly – you regurgitated the poisonous “theories” of not just one feminist but two without DOING YOUR OWN HOMEWORK.

It took me less than two hours * to put together enough actual verifiable evidence to debunk, discredit and demolish your primary contention.

* To be fair, I had already downloaded Dr. Enda Dooley’s’ studies and the data from The Crime Council and The CSO – Central Statistics Office so, I’ll concede that it would have taken you more than two hours to gather the same evidence – except you didn’t bother

“Worldwide, women aged 15 to 44 are more likely to be killed or maimed because of male violence than because of war, cancer, malaria and traffic accidents combined. Why is this?”

And I went for a bloody walk halfway through!

I can already tell you that each and every one of the “five of the seven State of the World’s Girls reports” put together by Nikki Van Der Gaag will be full of inaccuracies, misinterpretations of data/statistics, deliberate fallacies and probably outright fraudulent assertions, and I haven’t read any of them yet – but I will – every single one. I can make this claim because Nikki Van der Gaag is a feminist – and feminist is just another way of saying – lying snivelling weasel.

Finally.

Question: How can you tell when a feminist is lying?

Answer: Her lips are moving!

TDSB – Pot, Kettle……….Anyone?

I’ve been wondering if anyone from the school at the centre of this maelstrom whirling about the TDSB (Toronto District School Board) would crawl out of the woodwork?

Well! Lo and behold – someone who has referred to him/herself as “staff” finally did. Below is the text of this persons comment – and the originating email address – of course.

“Staff

you are cyberbulling Mrs Norman and take into consideration that cyberbullying women in Canada is a criminal offense.”

I’m going to take a wild guess and say that the person who posted this comment is a feminist – the clue being that apparently “cyberbullying women in Canada is a criminal offense.”

Does this mean that cyberbullying men ISN’T?

The second thing is this – for a member of “staff” of a school, this person could use some remedial teaching – my five year old niece knows to start a sentence with a capital letter!

Not even going to mention the spelling, the sentence structure, the lack of punctuation. 🙂

What is interesting though is this – I have never communicated with the principal of Roselands Junior School, either directly or indirectly, nor have I directed any commentary towards Mrs. Norman, directly – any commentary was directed at the Principal of that school. (Who just happens to be Mrs Norman)

As a public servant with a serious responsibility for the children attending Roselands Junior School, the principal of THAT school – no matter who they are – has a duty of care towards those children – a duty of care that is (or should be) open to public scrutiny – this is not a private individual with an “expectation of privacy” within his/her “official duties”

To reiterate – Mrs Norman is a PUBLIC servant with a duty of care towards CHILDREN.

So. “Staff” – yet again, a member of the TDSB has achieved the absolute opposite of what they desired – rather than browbeating or “cyber bullying” someone – that would be me by the way – into scuttling away to hide in the corner from the big bad TDSB – you have confirmed – AGAIN – that something rotten IS going on in THAT school.

TDSB – The Beat Goes On – A Rhino Charges In!

Apparently the TDSBToronto District School Board makes a habit of attempting to shut down Free Speech employing less than savoury tactics, as so eloquently put in an article in the Toronto Sun about the TDSB trying to intimidate a Canadian blogger Arnie Lemaire of BlazingCatFur – Mr. Lemaire has written quite a few articles about the TDSB see Here

“In what can be described as more TDSB theatre of the absurd, an obscure six-week-old blog comment resulted in police visiting his home like one might see back in the day of the Stasi in communist East Germany.”

From: TDSB sics police on sarcastic blogger – By Joe Warmington, Toronto Sun First posted: Wednesday, March 13, 2013 09:27 PM EDT | Updated: Wednesday, March 13, 2013 09:33 PM EDT

As you can see from the date – Wednesday March 13, 2013 – what Margaret Wilson, the investigator appointed by the Minister of Education for Ontario to conduct a review of the TDSB – described as a “climate of fear” permeating the TDSB goes back quite a ways.

Now – I haven’t (deliberately) read any of the articles posted on BlazingCatFur – yet – about the TDSB – but – there sure is A LOT OF THEM – here’s the thing – no matter what opinions Mr. Lemaire has expressed – whether I agree with them or not – as far as I’m concerned he has the absolute right to express them – this is partly why I posted the link to his site before even reading anything he has written – his right to Free Speech trumps anyone’s right – including mine – to “be offended

Now it is my turn – I have finally found out who Ryan Bird is – the Ryan Bird who “Sherry” threatened she was going to go to, and “tell on me”

It seems she did “tell on me” because here is the latest “comment” from a member of the TDSB – Toronto District School Board – and here he is. Ryan Bird.

His comment.

Ryan Bird is described in numerous articles –as a “TDSB spokesperson”

TDSB investigating explicit sex education pamphlets posted in classroom – By James Armstrong and Mark Carcasole Global News Link here.

“My understanding is that it was part of a sexual health resource that was offered up to students, should they want to see that,” said Ryan Bird, a spokesperson for the Toronto District School Board.

Bird said the school board took down the material once they were notified, but board officials say the pamphlets had been on display for months. Bird said the school board is looking into how long the pamphlets had been on display.

“You would think that somebody would’ve noticed it,” said Doretta Wilson, Executive Director of the Society for Quality Education. “It’s not that innocuous.”

TDSB director’s salary hiked despite letter from Education Minister – KAREN HOWLETT and CAROLINE ALPHONSO – The Globe and Mail – Published Friday, Nov. 21 2014, 5:00 AM EST

“The compensation of your new permanent Director is limited to the amount earned by the predecessor, in this case Mr. Chris Spence,” says the letter dated Jan. 10, 2014, a copy of which was obtained by The Globe and Mail.

A spokeswoman for Ms. Sandals said the minister and Mr. Bolton have had no formal communication since the January letter, and she is not aware of the details of the contract.

Mr. Bolton did not respond to an e-mail on Thursday. Ms. Quan has also refused to answer questions from The Globe.

TDSB spokesman Ryan Bird said Ms. Quan’s compensation was approved at a private board meeting attended by 18 of 22 trustees.

However, several school board sources said trustees were not part of the decision to pay Ms. Quan more than what her predecessor earned. Trustee Pamela Gough said it is “very troubling” that Mr. Bolton ignored Ms. Sandals’ letter.”

Fake teacher worked at five TDSB schools, police say – By:Alex BallingallNews, Published on Thu Jul 31 2014 – Link Here.

http://www.thestar.com/news/crime/2014/07/31/fake_teacher_worked_at_five_tdsb_schools_police_say.html

“Ryan Bird, spokesperson for the TDSB, said the man wasn’t hired by the school board, but rather is alleged to have assumed the identity of an existing employee on the substitute teacher’s list.

The board is now reviewing how it calls in and hires substitute teachers, Bird said. He would not comment on how the TDSB found out what was going on, or what spurred the discovery of an alleged imposter in their midst.

“We were made aware of this individual at one of the schools,” Bird said. “When we did become aware of it, Toronto police were notified immediately.”

Bird declined to comment when asked whether the man arrested knew the substitute teacher who was being impersonated, and referred the question to police.

Bird could not confirm whether the alleged impostor was getting paid. “I think it’s important to know that this is a very isolated incident. To our recollection this has never happened before at the TDSB,” Bird said.”

(emphasis added)

I was struck by two things – first the “spokesperson” of the TDSB “could not confirm” whether this fake teacher was getting paid – even though he was apparently employed as a teacher – and second, it seems that the TDSB relies on memory to recall incidents that happen within the TDSB – pardon me?

They don’t keep records???? About who teaches in their schools? About whether or not they are qualified to be teachers? Paid as teachers?

Tut tut Mr. Bird – that’s a tried a tested “device” for not answering a direct question – you learn that in law school – if you don’t want to answer a direct question you say “I don’t recall” sheesh – everyone knows that!

There are only two possible answers to “have there ever been any other instances when an unqualified person impersonated a teacher in the TDSB?”

Yes or No. Or if you really want to be emphatic – “absolutely not”

Here’s a couple of Child Safety Policy questions for you Rhino.

What procedures are in place in Toronto District School Board schools to protect children from random persons just wandering into schools – claiming to be teachers?

What procedures are in place to check the identity and qualifications of all persons seeking access to children in TDSB schools?

Anyhoo Rhino oops I mean Ryano – drat – Ryan – I take it you’re the TDSB enforcer – you come charging in, huffing and puffing and blowing hot blasts of deadly steam from all orifices – and the object of your fury quivers in abject fear – is that the usual scenario?.

You should be grateful that your name isn’t Barney – otherwise I’d have to liken you to the evil twin brother of big purple dinosaur – a big annoying purple dinosaur. 🙂

See – now I get it – when rent a brain “Sherry” issued her threat that she was gonna tell on me to Ryan Bird I was supposed to run like a rabbit who just spotted a member of the Squamata Serpentes family – that would be snakes by the way.

Except of course you came charging in here like a rhino on speed – I have a typically Irish response to a bully boy stomping about issuing orders.

Póg mo thóin

Tell me something Rhino – have you issued the same threat TO EVERY SINGLE newspaper, journalist and commenter on every single article (of which there are loads) that portrays the TDSB and its employees in a less than positive light ?

Will you also be issuing the same threat to the Minister of EducationLiz Sandals (who I have contacted by the way) and her investigator Margaret Wilson over this Report?

You can’t miss it – it’s right there on the home page of The Ministry of Education for Ontario.

It would appear that “throwing your weight about” is a feature of TDSB tactics – that the “climate of fear” noted by investigator Margaret Wilson in her Review of the TDSB has led to an unwarranted belief that you can pull that shit GLOBALLY.

From: Voters must take Toronto District School Board mess seriously: Editorial – Link Here.

“An Ernst and Young audit last December found $1.3 million in unauthorized raises for senior staff, and noted there was a “culture of fear” among staff about speaking out when problems arise. That audit also criticized trustees for interfering in day-to-day operations of the school board.

Board employees complained earlier this year that they had been subjected to “abusive, threatening and insulting comments” by some board members. Nine of the 22 trustees themselves said they felt threatened by some of their colleagues. The situation got so bad in March that former board chair Chris Bolton asked police to attend TDSB meetings in response to threatening behaviour by a trustee.”

(emphasis added)

What kind of “wild west” gangster operation are you people running over there? Police at School Board meetings? These are people entrusted with the education of CHILDREN?

Some bloody examples you are for impressionable children – a shower of thugs is what you sound like.

Let me tell you what I think – what my opinion is of the TDSB and some of its employees – like you and your coven of wretches.

You’re a disgrace – an absolute disgrace to Education – you should be run out of town on a rail – the whole toxic, mealy mouthed, moronic lot of you.

You and your ilk shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the education of children – if the Minister of Education Liz Sandals has any sense she will exercise her powers under The Education Act 1990 and SHUT YOU DOWN.

Yep – I’ve read the legislation – thoroughly – and The Minister of Education HAS the power to kick your sorry arse to the kerb – the whole lot of you. Left a link there for ya – but I’ll let you go looking for the relevant section. By the way it’s really really looooooooooooooooong. Have fun now.

Judging by not only the number of articles about the cesspit that is the TDSB, but by the almost all negative comments on all these articles – no one is going to be crying any tears over you shower of gobshoites being kicked out on your arses – NO ONE!

Now – kindly take a running jump off a very short pier.

Slainte agus ná lig do an doras bhuail tú ar an thóin ar an mbealach amach 🙂

Throwing Down The Gauntlet to the TDSB – Toronto District School Board.

First off let me say this – I have received no communications from either wordpress.com or the TSDB about any matters arising out of my post:

Creating “Misogyny” out of Thin Air – in Canada – and Putting Children at Risk. – 01/01/2015

https://mensrightsarehumanrights.wordpress.com/2015/01/01/creating-misogyny-out-of-thin-air-in-canada-and-putting-children-at-risk/

In fact until “Lisa Goldsberry” sent me this youtube audio recording,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPQT66cNhds

I had never heard of the TDSB – it now appears, judging by the subsequent comments I have received that a hornet’s nest has apparently been stirred up.

I have gathered together and reproduced all the comments here and would ask if anyone else – including any member of the TDSB wishes to comment further, they do so here on this post.

Secondly – let me also say this – I am taking all these comments at face value – having said that, my inclination leans towards accepting not just the content of these comments as truthful, but the reactions, as outlined and stated in these comments of the TDSB as plausible.

As those who have laboured not just in the present but for many many years previously in the MHRM (Men’s Human Rights Movement) know, some to their cost, both professionally and personally – what feminists are prepared to do in order to maintain not just their clawlike grip on power, but how unscrupulous they are prepared to be to maintain that grip.

There have been too many documented examples of the lengths feminists in positions of power will go to in order to destroy any challenge or challenger to the poisonous influence of feminism – nowhere more so than when it comes to children.

As a result of receiving not just “Lisa’s” audio recording and Bobby Iven’s subsequent comment I did some digging. In fact I was already researching not just school policy in Canada but the care of children in general in Canada.

One of the places I found myself in was here. http://www.canadacourtwatch.com/

Of the reports I have downloaded and begun to study this one has horrified me – yes I know it sounds rather hyperbolic, but, horrified is the appropriate word to use here.

The unlawful detention of children at schools by school officials and CAS workers

http://www.canadacourtwatch.com/files/all/Schools_and_CAS_For_School_Officials.pdf

CAS = Children’s Aid Society.

There is something rotten in the State of Canada – and that rot emanates from the corrupt and poisonous influence of feminism.

Below is the series comments I have received on various different posts in relation to the TDSB – in the order they were received. Most recent to the first.

This recording might be the same school in Toronto:

 https://soundcloud.com/canadianjustice007/the-office-administrator-lied-to-tdsb-worker

The person decided to call another department to figure out why the person was receiving a push back into contacting the school administrators. The TDSB worker claims that he received a call from the school administrator describing that the students were answering the phone calls. The TDSB worker claimed additionally that the office administrator at the school received a phone call, but she didn’t hear anyone [which is completely false because the 1st recording showed that she did speak with the person].

The school administrator acknowledged that the students were answering the phone calls during the lunch hour of September 15, 2014. This implies that the school administrator is blaming the students for the disconnecting calls, but the previous recording shows that the students are supervised by staff in answering the phone because one can hear a voice saying “hang up!” at 1:20. Strange.”

Moderators, for your post ” Creating Misogyny out of Thin Air” has angered some of the higher level staff of the Toronto District School Board.

It looks like the Toronto District School Board is cowering under the platform of misogyny whenever someone in the general population attempts to question the school board.

It’s not surprising knowing that there are more female school administrators than men in some parts of Toronto.

Just to let you know, that the TDSB is trying to remove your entire blog because of your article which criticizes the school administrator in the recording.

I believe Bobby Iven has everything covered as to which school Superintendent is overseeing that school.

As I mentioned earlier, the TDSB is trying to find out how to remove your blog. I’m only a teacher who knows about this and would like to advise you before you sign in one day and you notice that your WordPress account is banned.”

The TDSB is going down the gutter because of these incompetent teachers. Right now the school board is going through an intensive audit because of all of the financial scandals.”

Submitted on 2015/01/11 at 9:06 am | In reply to anjaeriud.

I’ll respond to your question to F.Powell because I’m a teacher too and I live in Toronto, unfortunately.

The TDSB is one of the most corrupt school boards in North America, that the media reports that employees live in fear by their bosses.

To answer your question about Canadian women, I think it’s the female teachers who indoctrinate the students with feminism at an early age in school. If you wanted to know the most feminist universities in Canada, look no other than the University of Toronto and Ryerson University.

I think that article you wrote is relevant to this Youtube audio of what appears to be a journalist who complained that the same school hung up phone calls on him.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iktewmQvipw

Anjaeriud, the TDSB cannot take down your website that easily…I’m no lawyer but I guess that the TDSB have to lodge a complaint with wordpress or file a court order in the USA, which will be burdensome to enforce because America has freedom of speech, for now.

As for the previous article about the feminists creating misogyny out of thin air, I agree that the school administrator should know about TDSB policies and she should have been ready to summarize those policies.

Your article did indeed stir up some discontent by the upper-level staff at the TDSB and we know why, these school administrators are afraid of accountability and becoming exposed for incompetence.

Keep the blog going. Canada’s flag is already Communist in colour. Just don’t let radical feminism invade your country.”

I stumbled on your blog. The phone number which was mentioned in the recording leads to Glenford Duffus. He is the Superintendent of the western part of Toronto.

A google search showed that the same feminazi posted another video, one who sounds like Ethan and a school secretary.

Link: vimeo.com/116131033

From what I’m hearing from some insiders at the TDSB, the principal of that school did record some calls and called the police to track the call.

In other words, the recording is real, but I don’t know how the recording got leaked. It sounds like Ethan recorded those calls to submit as evidence to the police and Toronto District School Board, but somehow those recordings are in the hands of feminazi teachers.

Which brings to a bigger picture; that fathers have no say in the welfare of their children at school.

The recordings uploaded by “Lisa” show that any father who confronts to question female authority are automatically labelled the aggressors. This is not surprising in the Toronto District School Board. The police takes the side of the female teachers and the feminist movement is allowed to attack fathers and frame them with impunity.

If you have any concerns, you can contact Superintendent Glenford Duffus or the TDSB. Don’t expect the school board to do anything except recording your calls and emails as evidence against you. This is how much feminism is a cancer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.”

Personal Statement to the TDSB from Anja Eriud

I invite any member/official of the TDSB to post a comment/statement on this blog – please note I will only post that comment if it comes from a TDSB email address.

Unlike feminists I do not operate in the shadows – several allegations have been made against this organisation and it members/officials – and I offer to you the right of reply.

That is what normal civilised people do.

Should this organisation or any of its members/officials prefer to undertake the kinds of actions alluded to in the above comments – ie. Attempt to silence me or have this blog removed from wordpress (a not unknown activity of feminists and their acolytes) then I will take any and all steps I deem necessary to shine a spotlight on these actions – including legal action.

The notion that a “foreign” body/organisation would attempt to interfere with not just the Constitutional Rights of an Irish citizen to exercise Freedom of Speech – but internationally protected rights to Freedom of Speech – ICESCRInternational Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights – and ICCPRInternational Covenant on Civil and Political Rights – of which both The Republic of Ireland and Canada are signatories – could almost create a “diplomatic incident”

That would be just awful – wouldn’t it? 🙂

Manifesto for the Right to Housing – Launch 12 June 2014

The housing crisis in Ireland is reaching epidemic porportions – there is nothing more debilitating to a human being that to be homeless or in a perpetual state of housing insecurity.

Your life is stalled, you cannot function as a member of society, you cannot interact in any meaningful way with state bodies.
From the Manifesto by Housing Action.

“HOUSING FOR ALL
We did not create this housing crisis. We did not vote to increase homelessness.
We did not ratify a treaty that allowed private investors and speculators to push us out of our homes.

We did not give our consent to evictions. We did not choose to throw families out onto the streets.

We did not make a collective call to be ruled by debt. We made no rallying cry to introduce chaos and fear into our housing market.
We participated in no movement that sought to repress the accommodation rights of oppressed minorities.
We did none of this. And yet we are being pushed out of our homes; we are being pushed out of our cities and we are being pushed out of our country. And this makes us ask: does this country belong to speculators and developers whose only concern is their pockets?

Does this country belong to an apathetic government who refuse to protect the unprotected majority, but instead chooses to protect those who profit off our fear? Or does this country belong to the public?
The answer is clear and the solutions are clear-cut. The time for change is now.
We want housing for all.”

Ireland after NAMA

Got us home

Back in March, Taoiseach Enda Kenny made the claim that “If you had 30,000 three- bedroom detached houses in Dublin you’d sell them all in a week. That’s the pent-up demand that’s there”. This has been part of a discourse that seeks to once again talk up the property market; to encourage the construction and sale of houses as a means to both stimulate the economy and to provide housing through the mechanisms of the private market.
The casual slippage back into the development logic of the Celtic Tiger era seeks to ignore both the remaining material evidence of the property crash – in the form of the persistent problems of mortgage arrears, negative equity, and unfinished developments – and the burgeoning housing crisis in the Dublin region.
In short, this strategy seeks to resurrect the property market to the detriment of addressing the housing crisis.
To tackle these…

Out On The Streets in Ireland

That’s how people see homelessness in Ireland isn’t it?

The Homeless – they live on the streets, have drug and alcohol issues and possibly mental health issues, they clutter up the nice streets, they smell, they commit petty street crime and – they’re a bloody nuisance.

But thank God there’s only a few of them – throw them a few coppers and your conscience is salved, and sure won’t all those charities take care of them, The Simon [1] The Vincent De Paul [2] anyway there’s loads of hostels they could go to, loads of “services” because moving beneath the surface of the superficial conscience salving few coppers that you threw them – is another thought – it’s their own fault.

“Those who were least well off before the economic crisis remain so, and their difficulties have been worsened due to cutbacks to the supports and services on which they rely. Those who have lost jobs, had business failures, seen significant falls in their income or are affected by over-indebtedness require supports in the short, medium and longer term to ensure that they are prevented from falling into long term unemployment and poverty. [3]

Niamh Randall, National Spokesperson for the Simon Communities, said that more and more people are turning to the Simon Communities across the country for support.

“There are now over 90,000 people on the social housing waiting lists; rents are rapidly increasing all around the country at the same time as the numbers of properties available to rent are decreasing. People on low incomes are effectively being priced out of the market. It is the responsibility of the Government to ensure people in need have access to housing so they do not become homeless in the first place and so they can move out of homelessness, when it does happen, as quickly as possible.” (emphasis added) [3]

On Thursday 5th June a protest was held – a Sleep Out – outside the offices of Dun Laoghaire – Rathdown Council Offices – I was there.

Richard Boyd Barrett TD of People Before Profit was at the forefront of this protest – the issue was Social Housing, or rather the lack of Social Housing.

“Richard Boyd Barrett TD said: “In 2011 the government abandoned the direct provision of social housing and farmed out housing to private landlords. Now that landlords can get higher rents on the open market they are pulling out of these deals and families are being forced into homelessness. Rents are rocketing and with no investment in social housing the crisis is spiralling out of control.”

I don’t believe there is anyone either in Ireland or in the western world who doesn’t know that we had a “housing crisis” though more correctly a “housing crash” here in Ireland – a recession of epic proportions that literally brought this tiny inconsequential country on the periphery of Europe to the brink of economic destruction – but we were “saved” by the EU and the IMF – they came charging into the rescue and bailed us out. Then we voted for those who made promises that they had no intention of keeping.

Labour said: “The fiscal strategy set out in the EU-IMF deal . . . involves excessive austerity, which will put growth at risk”. That was the strategy they implemented and they take pride in that! Where was the mandate

There was no mandate for taking in taxation from the poorest 10 per cent of the population the same proportion of their income as being taken from the richest 10 per cent – this was achieved via the VAT increase in the 2012 budget, even though the USC was removed from incomes between €4,004 and €10,036.

There was no mandate for the cuts in child benefit for the third and subsequent children and Labour was adamant there would be no cuts in child benefit at all. There was no mandate for cutting the disability allowance. No mandate for cuts to rent supplements. No mandate for the changes in PRSI that impact most on the working poor. No mandate for a property tax that is imposed irrespective of income. No mandate for the increase in prescription drug charges. And so much else.” [4] (emphasis added)

We made a pact with the devil – or rather our political leaders at that time on our behalf made a pact with the devil. Then we kicked them out of office and………….same shoite, different day – or different devils.

As it turned out – it wasn’t us – The People – that our political elite decided needed our arses pulled out of the fire, it was the very ones who had caused and precipitated this crisis – the bankers, the developers, politicians, financiers, and then our own “rescuers” decided to make the deal with the devil work.

“National pension fund plundered

The Irish population is paying for the repeated saving of the financial sector through brutal austerity. Ireland had to co-finance its own “rescue” by €17.5 billion, €10 billion of which were taken from the public pension fund NPRF, originally set up to secure Irish pensions in the future. The fund’s money was used for direct bank recapitalization (7). In late 2013, the government decided to entirely transform it into an investment fund, safeguarding future pensions is no longer a priority (8). Furthermore, the population was hit hard by six (?) years of austerity measures: The VAT was increased to 23 percent, child benefits were lowered, unemployment allowances for young people cut in half (9) and tuition fees tripled to 2,500 Euros (10). Altogether, over €28 billion have been squeezed out of Irish society since 2008 (11).” [5] (emphasis added)

They got the rescue – we got the bill.

A bill we are still paying, and will be expected to continue paying until every last man, woman and child for the next two generations of Irish people has been squeezed dry.

“Ending the bailout is “not the end of the road”. Ireland has already announced a new round of spending cuts and tax rises for next year, in the 2014 budget announced recently. Noonan was clear that further cuts lie ahead if Ireland is to lower its deficit to 3% by 2015.”

“This isn’t the end of the road. This is a very significant milestone on the road…But we must continue with the same types of policies.” (emphasis added) [6]

Till we are a people so demoralised, so disenfranchised, so browbeaten into submission that we are no longer a people, no longer free citizens of a free Republic – we are merely pawns, utilities, economic units valued only for our usefulness as dupes, as a means to an end – to ensure that the gravy train keeps rolling, that those who have continue to have – and those who have not – never ever get to have – anything – including a roof over their heads – the dignity that every human being is entitled to – a place to call home.

“Housing: a new philosophy

A series of publications by the economist Professor PJ Drudy of Trinity College have offered an interesting new approach to how Irish society views housing. In his paper at a 2005 Social Policy Conference, in a co-authored book with Michael Punch -entitled Out of Reach (2005) – and in a chapter in the Social Policy in Ireland book (Drudy, 2006) he has outlined these views.

The essence of Professor Drudy’s proposal is to view housing as a home rather than as a market commodity. In his conference paper Professor Drudy stated that we should “place the emphasis on housing as a home – shelter, a place to stay, to feel secure, to build a base, find an identity and participate in a community and society”.

Therefore he continued: “housing thus becomes a central feature of ‘development’ – a process not simply comprising increases in economic growth, but containing positive actions to improve the quality of life and wellbeing for all” (2005: 44).

In concluding his paper, Drudy suggested that Irish society now needs to address “a fundamental philosophical question: is it the purpose of a housing system to provide investment, speculative or capital gains for those with the necessary resources or should the critical aim be to provide a home as a right for all citizens?” (2004: 46).

In his view it is time now for Ireland to move away from seeing housing as a commodity to be traded on the market like any other tradable commodity; and to accept the latter opinion that views housing as a social requirement like health services or education.” [7]

I started off by saying that “The Homeless ” brings to mind a certain type – a certain image – a myth that we can call up to salve our consciences with – as being – a small problem that affects only a very small very particular section of our society – with that underlying thread weaving its way through the narrative – “it’s really their own fault”.

Here are the facts.

“About Homelessness

Homelessness can mean sleeping rough, staying in emergency hostels or shelters, staying in temporary bed and breakfast accommodation or staying with friends and relatives when there is nowhere else to go. Homelessness is all of these things. For people experiencing homelessness it is about a lack of security, a lack of belonging and often about being cold, sick and isolated. The current economic climate means more people are at risk of homelessness than ever before with further cut backs in health, education, welfare services and training more people will become homeless and turn to the Simon Communities for support.” [8] (emphasis added)

According to the Simon Community in 2011 these were the figures for “Homelessnes” or in “Housing Need” – figures for 2005 in brackets. [9]

Household Homelessness – 2,348 (2,399)

Living in Unfit Accommodation – 1,708 (1,725)

Living in Overcrowded Accommodation – 4,594 (4,122) – increase of 475

Involuntarily Sharing – 8,834 (3,375) – increase of 5,459 – almost 62% (5,477)

Not reasonably able to meet the cost of Accommodation – 65,643 (25,045) – an increase of 40,598 – almost a 62% increase. (40,698)

Are they on the streets? No – not all of them – what they are is caught in a trap – they are “unable to provide accommodation from their own means” which is how one qualifies for either Social Housing [10] or if none is available (which it isn’t) for Rent Supplement [11] in order to pay for private accommodation while waiting for your turn, your number to come up to the top of the list – and that list would be the Housing List – and every Local Authority, City and County Council has its own “List”

Here they are – a breakdown of every single city and county council’s numbers. These figures are from 2011 – but I seriously doubt if those numbers have gone down appreciably in the last three years.

“Housing Needs Assessment 2011 – Background

In February 2011 housing authorities were directed by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government1 to carry out an assessment of need existing at 31st March, 2011. Detailed guidance was issued by the Department to assist authorities in carrying out the assessment and in order to insure as much consistency as possible across authorities. This was to be a ‘snap-shot’ assessment based on an extract of data from each housing authority in respect of each household that has been approved for social housing support at 31st March, 2011.

The Housing [Miscellaneous Provisions] Act, 2009 provides for a new process of housing assessment with effect from 1st April, 2011. This Assessment of Housing Need gives a national picture of the level of housing need across the country as these new regulations come into effect.”

For the vast majority of Irish people on these “Housing Lists” they are out of options, though there are those in this country who would take the attitude “well get a job and buy your own house

“Net Housing Need

The net housing need figure at present shows that 98,318 households were in need of social housing support at 31st March 2011. Table 1 shows that the largest category of need by far was those unable to meet the cost of accommodation – accounting for about two-thirds (66.8%) of households, with the next biggest category of need, medical and compassion reasons, accounting for one-tenth of households (9.7%) and this was followed by those involuntary sharing (8.7%). Older persons and homeless households respectively account for just over 2 per cent of need, while Traveller families, unfit accommodation and people with a disability each accounted for less than 2% of the country’s net housing need.” (emphasis added)

I look forward to the release of the Report for 2014 – after all – it is now three years since that last one.

In order to buy a home of your own – you need a job – and a job that pays enough, not only to service a mortgage, but with enough left over each month to feed, clothe and take care of yourself and your family, pay your bills, heat that house, pay a doctor if one of your kids gets sick, pay the Household Charge/Property Tax on that new home of yours, in fact, being able to insert the key into the front door of your own home and walk in, is only the beginning – because even if you manage by some miracle to “get a mortgage” every state support (what little there is) gets withdrawn – you may finally have a roof over your head – but that roof is both a blessing and a curse.

There is a phenomenon called the working poor [12] – there are those for whom working is actually more of a trap than not working, for whom the only jobs, of the few that are available are so badly paid, so precarious and so demoralising that working actually causes and creates more stress, more anxiety – if that was even possible.

You would have to find yourself a permanent well paid and secure job in order to be able to breathe out.

The chances of getting that dream permanent job – the one that will get you that magic mortgage and last long enough – 20 – 25 years – to keep paying that mortgage are slim to none, though I wouldn’t count on being able to afford little luxuries – like food – while you are paying that mortgage.

You are now – truly on your own – and the hawks are ever circling – the spectre of unemployment waits brooding in the wings – the government churns out ever more “charges” ever more “penalties” ever more “cuts” and each one is designed to squeeze you, to wring every last cent out of you they can, as they work tirelessly and feverishly to – rescue those who need the least amount of rescuing – the ones who caused all this in first place.

The Irish People are being held to ransom by bankers, by politicians, the EU – we are paying for the privilege of being disenfranchised, kept in penury, and kept in a prison of poverty, of housing insecurity, of ongoing and never-ending worry, stress and anxiety.

They also live in fear – of saying the wrong thing to “officials” of one of these “officials” some petty little civil servant not liking the look of us – not liking our “attitude” deliberately making any interaction with “officialdom” as stressful, as tortuous as possibly – of having your “application” dealt with at the whim, the mood, of whoever you are unfortunate enough to encounter. This was something that came up over and over again from the people sleeping on the street outside Dun Laoighre- Rathdown Council offices – fear.

Within all these government departments are petty little tyrants, bullies and sneering “civil servants” who treat their fellow citizens with contempt, derision and hostility. This I know from personal experience – a story for another time.

All this, so that our political elite can go to Europe and kiss EU ass and assure them that the ones who robbed and are robbing this country blind can keep doing just that.

Our politicians have assured the EU that Ireland will pay its “Debt” – except – this is not our debt – and this “debt” is being paid on the backs of the Irish people – this “debt” is being paid in devastated lives, hungry children, sick and frail elderly people, homeless men women and children, and in some cases the actual life blood of Irish men – for some – the combined pressures of unemployment, housing insecurity, the anxiety of feeling useless, powerless and trapped leads so many to take their own lives. [13]

“3.4 Suicide and economic adversity

Economic adversity and recession specifically has been shown to result in an increase in suicide rates59. Studies have also shown that factors in the current economic crisis, such as falling stock prices, increased bankruptcies and housing insecurity (including evictions and the anticipated loss of a home), and higher interest rates are all associated with increased suicide risk60,61. People who are unemployed are two-three times more likely to die by suicide than people in employment62.

A recent Irish study has shown that during the boom years of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ male and female rates of suicide and undetermined death were stable during 1996-2006, while suicide among unemployed men increased. Unemployment was associated with a 2-3 fold risk of suicide in men and a 4-6 fold increased risk in women63.”

Of all these factors – a roof over your head – place to call your own – for you and your family gives you an anchor, a safe haven, a sense of security from which you can direct the course of your own life – shelter from the storms raging outside, protect your family and weather those storms – because at least you can say – “well at least we have a roof over our heads” we can get through anything as long as we have that.

Except – there are no roofs to be had – there is no shelter from the raging storms – there are no safe harbours, no shelter to be had – and no way to get any of those things.

Because we now live in a country where “The People” don’t matter – where “The People” are now subsidiary to policy – and the current policy?

Paying a debt incurred by the greedy avaricious and venal to maintain a system that ensures that who have and have always had, continue to do so – and in order to do that – take it from those who have nothing.

The very thing that caused this crisis in the first place – the housing bubble? The movers and shakers are starting to inflate it again. Rents are going up – house prices are going up – and Rent Supplement is going down – and the criteria for becoming eligible is getting more and more stringent – less and less flexible and has absolutely nothing to do with the actually lived reality of most people’s lives.

A case in point is the father who was refused Rent Supplement as a parent and classified as “single” by the Department of Social Protection even though he has four children, and has nowhere not only for himself to live, but is being deliberately prevented from being able to parent his own children including providing accommodation for them when they are with him.

See – “Money Makes the World Go Round………Not Ideology….Feminism is Just Along for the Ride”

Our current government is actually encouraging this – by doing exactly what the last government did – standing by and sanctioning the same corrupt and discredited policies, by taking the same cynical and laissez faire attitude to the practices of the bankers, the gombeens, the chancers, the corrupt and the venal so that once more they can proliferate.

The crisis ripped away the safety net for the Irish people – but at least it was there – provisionally – there is no safety net now – it is gone – yet here we are – getting back up on the trapeze – or being forced back up onto that trapeze.

It is time to end this circus – time to rip down the big top – time to say enough. It is time for this circus to leave town.

The night before, on Wednesday 4th June 2014 I attended a People Before Profit meeting in Wynne’s Hotel in Dublin city centre – it was by way of being a celebration of the electoral success achieved by PBP in the recent council elections. What is clear is that there is a growing sense of anger, of a people who have had enough, the results indicate that the coming election in 2016 may change the face of Irish politics forever.

I started this article by saying that there is a perception of what it is to be homeless, that “being homeless” inspires certain images, brings to mind certain pictures of “the homeless”

Nothing could be further from the truth – yes there are those who literally have no place to go, and yes the vast majority of those who fit that profile of the homeless are men.

“Over 60 per cent of the persons enumerated as part of the homeless count were in the Dublin region on Census Night. Of the 2,375 people enumerated in Dublin, just over two thirds or 1,590 were male. The next largest region was the South East. Of the 403 homeless persons enumerated in this region, 216 were male.”

“Among the 3,351 homeless persons aged 15 and over, two thirds were single compared with 42 per cent for the general population. Some 189 homeless persons were either married or re-married, representing just under 6 per cent of the group. In contrast, almost 48 per cent of the general population was married. Almost 17 per cent of the homeless population aged 15 and over was either separated or divorced, significantly higher than the general population for which the equivalent figure was 6 per cent. Just over 8 per cent of homeless women were married compared with 5 per cent of men, while 19 per cent of homeless men were separated or divorced compared with 13 per cent of women.” [14]

Men women and children – Irish men women and children – the effects of homelessness and housing insecurity are myriad and debilitating – and personal – the causes are political, structural, institutional and economic. That’s who I met – Irish men women and children – families – ordinary people.

“Cllr Melisa Halpin added: “We are sleeping outside the council tonight with families and individuals on the housing list to highlight the severity of the housing crisis. The new council meets tomorrow and we want to ensure that housing becomes the number one issue for the new council.”

There are currently 4000 families on the housing list in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown and the plan is to build 19 houses in 2014! This situation cannot continue. We want a radically different council – one that starts telling the government what we want and what the people who elected us want rather than just taking orders from Leinster House.” [15]

The mechanisms through which these causes are visited upon Irish people are government policy – THIS governments policies.

The reasons?

Political expediency – elitism – a cynical disregard for the effects of government policy on people – on real live human beings.

This is not politics – this is not democracy – this is apartheid – this is an oligarchy – this is wrong – and this needs to stop.

I am not personally a member of People Before Profit or of any political party for that matter, what I am is a Human Rights Advocate – and a roof over your head is a basic fundamental Human Right.

Someone made the point during a very very long night that if we (Ireland) had suffered a natural disaster like a tsunami or a hurricane and thousands of people had been made homeless, money would pour in from all over world in order to assist those people, in fact our own government would probably send aid to any other disaster struck country – yet here we are – with our own housing crisis – where there are thousands of Irish people, men women and children – who do not have a roof of their own over their heads and this government…………….this government through one of our Local Authorities, just spent 36 million euro’s on a library, according to Marie Baker a Fine Gael councillor in Dun Laoghaire – Rathdown [16]

I wonder how many Social Housing units they could have built for that 36 million euro’s? Well – at €100,000.00 a pop – 360 – reducing the current housing list of approx 4,000 to 3,640 – it would be a start.

What else has Dun Laoghaire – Rathdown County council earmarked millions of euro’s for? What about all the other Local Authorities, City and County Councils? Because it isn’t housing.

Kristallnacht – Déjà Vue – Detroit – 2014

“Kristallnacht, literally, “Night of Crystal,” is often referred to as the “Night of Broken Glass.” The name refers to the wave of violent anti-Jewish pogroms which took place on November 9 and 10, 1938, throughout Germany, annexed Austria, and in areas of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia recently occupied by German troops.

Instigated primarily by Nazi Party officials and members of the SA (Sturmabteilungen: literally Assault Detachments, but commonly known as Storm Troopers) and Hitler Youth, Kristallnacht owes its name to the shards of shattered glass that lined German streets in the wake of the pogrom—broken glass from the windows of synagogues, homes, and Jewish-owned businesses plundered and destroyed during the violence.”

“Freedom of speech, of the press, of association, of assembly and petition — this set of guarantees, protected by the First Amendment, comprises what we refer to as freedom of expression. The Supreme Court has written that this freedom is

the matrix, the indispensable condition of nearly every other form of freedom.” Without it, other fundamental rights, like the right to vote, would wither and die.”

Instigating, calling for, threatening, or perpetrating violence against those who do not believe what you believe, who do not agree with your opinion, who do not think the way you think – is akin to the progrom that the Nazis perpetrated against the Jews – and Kristallnacht was the first salvo in what became one the most horrific murderous periods of genocide in human history – and it began with broken glass.

Feminists have now embarked on preparations for another Kristallnacht – 76 years after that first Kristallnacht – because they do not believe that anyone has the right to believe, think or articulate anything other than what they believe, think or articulate.

Feminists are the new Nazis.

As a free citizen of the Republic of Ireland I declare that in my opinion feminism is a hate movement, a terrorist organisation and is akin to Nazism.

That anyone who collaborates with, supports, endorses or stands idly by and refuses to condemn feminism in all its manifestations, roots and branches is equally culpable, equally complicit is supporting a terrorist organisation, a hate movement and an ideology that has no other comparison other than to Nazism.

On June 26 – 29 2014 A Voice for Men (AVfM) intends to hold an International Conference on Men’s Rights in Detroit – the hotel at which this conference is being hosted has been in contact with Paul Elam owner and publisher of AVfM to make him aware that serious threats of violence, and of death threats have been made against not just conference attendees but the hotel, its staff and other guests.

http://www.avoiceformen.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2014/05/AVFM-Security-Letter-REDACTED.pdf

From a reading of the communication sent to Paul Elam from the hotel – two things are clear – the hotel is taking these threats seriously, and the hotel also expects the conference organisers to pay for the protection of the hotel, its staff, its guests and conference attendees.  Including attendees from other sovereign states – we’ll get back to this shortly, and anyone who just happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Against terrorists.

Except – the issuing of credible threats is a Federal Criminal Offence in the US – it is a crime.

“b)Whoever, with intent to extort from any person, firm, association, or corporation, any money or other thing of value, transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

(c)Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

(d)Whoever, with intent to extort from any person, firm, association, or corporation, any money or other thing of value, transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to injure the property or reputation of the addressee or of another or the reputation of a deceased person or any threat to accuse the addressee or any other person of a crime, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both.”

18 U.S.C. § 875(c) states: “Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any   communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.” From the wording of § 875(c) it is clear that the legislator did not require the element of ‘intent.’ Thus, it is irrelevant if the accused claims he/she did not have the intent to produce any injury on the victim; the mere act of sending the e-mail with threatening messages typifies the criminal conduct.

The holding in United States v. DeAndino, 958 F.2d 146 (US Ct. App. 6th Cir. 1992) confirms this statement. In DeAndino, the court held: “A criminal statute such as 18 U.S.C.S. § 875(c) does not contain a specific mens rea element. However, such a statute is not presumed to create a strict liability offense, because mere omission from the statute of any mention of intent will not be construed as eliminating that element from the crime denounced.”

In other words, ‘federal stalking,’ as this crime is also known, is not a strict liability crime but it does require prosecutors to prove that the accused committed the offense. Thus, the ‘wording’ of the e-mails and the e-mails themselves are critical evidence in these cases.

Threats of injury must be found in the e-mails sent by the accused. As the Court held in DeAndino, the words in the [e-mail] message must fully, directly, and expressly set the elements of the statutory offense.

For instance, in Tuason, the wording of one of his e-mails said: “Mulatto kids are ugly freaks that should be destroyed. . . The blackie should be castrated. I want people in public malls, photo shoots, TV studios, radio, concerts, arenas, restaurants, NBC TV, Bravo TV, parties, sidewalks, etc. to stare and stab dead any blackie with a white girl like “SS”. . . If not, I “HK” WILL BOMB THE PLACE.” These words are a clear example of threatening words of injury under the federal statute.

Many other US circuit courts have followed this interpretation in DeAndino. For instance, the First, Second, Fourth, and Fifth circuit courts have followed this interpretation of 18 U.S.C. § 875(c) as not requiring specific mens rea (mental state of intent).

DeAndino held that this crime requires three specific elements: (i) there must be a transmission in interstate commerce; (ii) there must be a communication containing the threat; (iii) and the threat must be a threat to injure the person of another.

Therefore, according to 18 U.S.C. § 875(c) sending e-mails with words threatening injury is a federal crime and can be easily proven by showing that it was sent to a person in other state, showing the e-mail, and the wording the e-mail contains.

Thus, individuals prompt to explosive reactions should be cautions when wording their e-mail messages. A simple ‘mistake’ in wording e-mails threatening its recipient with an injury, even if not intended, may typify a federal crime with a harsh imprisonment sentence.”

The communication from the hotel makes reference to “calls” and “other threats” would it be beyond the realms of possibility that these threats were also issued via email, and/or online?

The hotel suggests that AVfM pays for extra police officers in order to protect, the hotel, its staff, its guests and conference attendees. From terrorists, and to take out insurance – against terrorist threats.

I have some questions – is the FBI involved? Are Detroit police investigating these criminal acts?

Again from reading the communication sent to Paul Elam from the hotel – these threats are being made against not just actual attendees of this conference – but hotel staff, hotel guests NOT attending this conference and one presumes any other person who might happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Again – I ask –  is the Federal Bureau of Investigation  involved in what appears to be credible threats of violence and credible death threats?

Back to citizens of other sovereign states who may either be attending this conference or just happen to be guests of this hotel at the same time.

Will the US State Department now be issuing warnings to citizens of other sovereign states intending to visit the United States of America that they do so at their own peril – recommend that visitors bring full body armour and take out either private insurance or hire private security personnel to accompany them on their visit to the United States of America – “Land of the Free, home of the brave” because apparently now, one only gets state police protection and Federal protection against threats of violence, and death threats from feminists, if one pays – the police force.

I recommend that citizens of other sovereign states intending to visit the United States of America, contact their embassies and Foreign Affairs Departments to make formal complaints to the government of the United States of America that threats of violence, and death threats against either US citizens or citizens of other sovereign states are tolerated in the United States of America – if they are made by feminists.

Apparently the targets of these threats of violence or death are irrelevant – whether attendees at a conference, staff of hotels or any other guests who just happen to be there.

So, what is it that the feminists who have issued these threats are “objecting” to? Not by disagreeing, not by legitimately protesting under legally sanctioned “freedom of association” – but by issuing death threats and threats of violence – not just against conference attendees, but the hotel, its staff, its guests, citizens of other sovereign states and any other person who – as I said – happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because they do NOT uphold or believe in that most basic of all fundamental Human Rights.

Freedom of Speech, thought, conscience and belief.

Many people have written about this fundamental Human Right – the prophetic George Orwell

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”

George Orwell

Apparently in the United States of America – the home of “Liberty” if feminists don’t like what they hear – they will threaten violence and death against those saying those things they don’t want to hear – so that nobody else gets to hear them either – this would be in pursuit of “equal rights” no doubt?

Several US presidents have also addressed the issue of Freedom of Speech.

“If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”

George Washington

It would appear that George Washington knew what he was talking about with regard to “slaughter” as feminists appear to believe that killing those with whom you disagree with is a legitimate way to advocate for “equal rights”

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.”

[Special Message to the Congress on the Internal Security of the United States, August 8, 1950]”

Harry S. Truman

Mr. Truman was prescient – “a country where everyone lives in fear.” From feminists – who will perpetrate violence or fatal injury upon anyone who “disagrees” with them.

How about one of the famous Americans of all time?

“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.”

Benjamin Franklin, Silence Dogood, The Busy-Body, and Early Writings

Did I mention that America prides itself on being the bastion of Liberty and Freedom and Democracy?

“Restriction of free thought and free speech is the most dangerous of all subversions. It is the one un-American act that could most easily defeat us.”

[The One Un-American Act, Speech to the Author’s Guild Council in New York, on receiving the 1951 Lauterbach Award (December 3, 1952)]”

William O. Douglas

Our own inimitable Oscar had something to say about Freedom of Speech.

“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an ass of yourself.”

Oscar Wilde

A twist on that most famous of all quotes about Freedom of Speech.

“I do not agree with what you have to say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it.”

Voltaire

Though from the feminist perspective that should read “if I don’t agree with what you say – I will visit death and violence upon you – so that you don’t get to say what I disagree with”

The last word goes to Christopher Hitchens.

“My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, any place, any time. And anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line, and kiss my ass.”

Christopher Hitchens

I would like to add this – for any feminist attempting to pull the NAFALT – (Not All Feminists Are Like That) card – let me say this – ALL feminism is like that – if you subscribe to, endorse, support or turn a blind eye to the toxic roots, murderous and criminal behaviour of ANY section, part, branch of form of feminism – you ARE like that.

And you can kiss my Irish arse.

For those who think “this has nothing to do with me, am not either a feminist or a MRA/MHRA – storm in a teacup” – then bear this mind.

Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.

Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out– Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out– Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out– Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.”

You don’t have to be a feminist or a MRA/MHRA or any other designation to believe in the sanctity of Human Rights – hell you don’t even have to like the human being whose rights you acknowledge as being sacrosanct – even the biggest arsehole on the planet has those Human Rights.

You don’t have to be anything but a Human Being to speak out against injustice, against prejudice, against hatred, against bigotry.

For those feminists caught in that toxic loop – “you must be a feminist” – I’m NOT a feminist – and hey look – my head didn’t explode – an asteroid didn’t hit the earth – the sun didn’t fall out of the sky.

I’m NOT a feminist and I believe 100% in the sanctity of Human Rights – you don’t you are a female supremacist – a supporter of thugs – of terrorists – unless you completely disavow and reject any tenet of feminism –  and you continue to stand idly by and say nothing about what YOUR movement deems a legitimate form of protest – threats of violence and death threats against those who also declare – I’m NOT a feminist.

Not speaking up – turning a blind eye makes you complicit.

These people claim to speak on your behalf – to be the voice of feminism – THIS is what your feminism is – in all its putrid toxic murderous and vile hate-filled glory. Your feminism.

There have been many many people whose beliefs were so deeply held they were worth dying for – YOURS apparently are worth killing for.
